November 20, 2007

Lisa has been released from Grant Hospital and will be resting at home. She is still very tired and says she feels worse this time than any other time - spirit is strong but body is still weak. She hopes to be feeling much better by next week, and up to taking calls and having company again. She appreciates your continued thoughts and prayers.

Good afternoon Major, good news that you will get to go home now. You have been through so much. Now your body needs to rest and recover. Hopefully you won't get too many visitors over the next few days so you can get some rest.
Your faith is so strong, and your prayer warriors are here for you too!!
You now have a new focus and a goal to obtain as your body gets its strength back. Love you !!! and do what your caregivers tell you to do, or the movie nazis will be sent over. LOL !!!!! Talk to you tomorrow.

Great talking with you today. Call me back when you have time and we will finish our chat. I guess we got interrupted so you could be discharged. Well if I'm going to be cut off I guess that is a good reason. Chat with you soon....

Rest, heal, re-energize.

There's plenty of time for everything else. Enjoy Thanksgiving and know your friends are ever so near.

You've come a long way baby..!!
Welcome home.

Lisa:

So glad to hear you are home! You can rest and recharge so much better at home. You are such an inspiration to everyone who knows your story.

We continue to pray for both you and Mary...as well as all of your faithful friends and family, who are doing such a great job of watching out for you.

Enjoy your holiday. We are very thankful for you and the great attitude you show every day.

Peace,
Butch and Brenda

Major,
It is good to hear that you are back home. I hope that you are not too sore to enjoy a little of Thanksgiving. Know that there are lots of us here thinking, and giving thanks for all that has been done to help rehabilitate both you and Mary! God Bless.

Well heck, girl! No WONDER you are feeling tired and poorly! Look at all they did this time while you were in there! A whole LOT of stuff! So don't despair! You will soon be up and feeling in the "pink" again! It won't be any time at all.
Now your job is to sleep all you can, rest a whole lot, and take care of YOU, woman! That is a direct order (or I'm sending the PT Nazis over!) So let everything else wait, you hear?????

Just chill out over the weekend! And relax! Plenty of time for all other things later, after you recover!!

Hang in there, Lisa. The body must have some down time to heal. If that means sleeping through the pain, so be it. Just take it as it comes and know that we are all thankful for the continuing progress you and Mary are making in healing your bodies back to good as new or nearly so condition. May you be blessed, dear, and Mary too. We all give thanks for you both and for your spirit and will power to persevere.
Love you, gals. Cindy --Trish, thanks for all you do to make Lisa's life easier. Terri and Pops, thank you as well. You've got a little angel in your care, and we're grateful for all you do to help her recover. :) Cindy
